Launched Improved Onboarding Experience

Context

We ask a lot of our users during onboarding, but without completing all those steps they will never see the full value of Crossbeam. To make it easier, we have re-designed the home page to make progress clear while making educated recommendations on what to do next based on what we know about the organization.

What's New

  • Onboarding Home Page Users can now see all onboarding steps, progress, and help articles on the main landing page.

  • Recommended Help Docs On key pages users are served help articles, videos, and courses to better understand what we're asking of them.

  • Re-Designed Data Source Set Up To reduce decision fatigue, we reduced the options from 16 to 3 for connecting a data source. After telling us what CRM their organization uses the user will be served a recommendation and clearly shown the pros and cons of each option.
